WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Ideally, we'd prefer that our Material Driver have some prior knowledge of or experience with electrical materials. A solid work ethic and commitment to safety are crucial. The general requirements are:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (health card)
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained
• Ability to travel to various job sites (mostly in Macomb and Oakland counties)
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials weighing 50+ lbs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Our Material Drivers work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.

You'll be behind the wheel of our company vehicles, safely transporting materials between the warehouse, suppliers, and different job sites. You'll properly load your vehicle with the listed electrical supplies and tools before driving to the assigned location and carefully unloading the equipment. Accuracy will be one of your top priorities, as you'll be responsible for preparing delivery logs/documents and helping with warehouse organization/inventory control as directed. You'll also be in charge of maintaining and cleaning your vehicle to keep it in excellent condition.
